Every year since I became a wife, I will be the busiest with plans during New Year as it has been my husband's birthday month since 1993. My Capricorn husband turned 30 this year! Can you imagine how hard it was to hump my brain out to find ideas to make him happy on his birthday? He has made it clear that he wants a very chill and relaxed birthday celebration. The whole idea of Penang is a secret. He thought we are going away for a week to Alor Setar, his hometown. But I arranged a detour to Penang for a night to pamper him with a lovely stay in the colonial-ish hotel named Eastern & Oriental. I've heard of this place for quite some time ago, and finally, manage to make a reservation one month before his birthday.  Eastern & Oriental team management has been the greatest in helping me with a birthday cake. Don't stop now and regret it later.  Do it now and regret it later. Because at least you know which ones do work and which one is not. Don't wait for the right times to come. Do exactly the right things. Because no one even knows when is the right time.  Don't search for a prince charming. Do search for a perfect husband. Because a prince cant does the husband's house chores.  Don't quit a job because you hate it. Do quit a job because you have other jobs in line. Because you still need to pay your rent. Don't compare yourself with the hot girl you know.  Do search for a hobby and busy your day with healthy things. Because there is a chance that, she might also compare. Don't bring your unfinished work home after office hours. Do bring a happy food home after office hours. Because you have other life too. Don't stop living your life when life knocks you down. You made it so effortlessly easy for me to accept you.  For me to share with you my secrets.  For me to open up with you and let you touch my soul. For me to feel the warmth of your company.  Because you sincerely wanna experience everything with me.  Because you genuinely wanna know me.  Because you seriously and sternly, wanna hold me and cherish me.  And foolish me to compare you with anything in this world because you are perfect.  You deserve to be the one and only.  You deserve to be so profoundly loved.  You deserve all the efforts just to be with you.  Allow me to love you so severely.  No one can ever be like you.  No one can replace you.  There is no one, no one after you. 

I rejected the idea of love because I'm a tremendous mess and I think no one should choose me, let alone love me. But somehow you came. Be brave. All you need in this world is bravery. Not to fight other people with swords and guns. But brave to make a life decision. Brave to make that one small step. Brave to take chances and risks. Be brave. You do not need a pretty face. You do not need a solid, rocking body. All you need is bravery. Because brave can leads you to something unimaginable. So if you need something to reclaim back your lost life, just be brave. It's challenging, and at times it can fail you too. But brave will never stop until it gets to the end point. It will never stop until it brings you to the top of the mountain and even beyond. So do yourself one favor. Do this mistake and see where life will bring you. Because after all, you only have this one life.
